Van Swinderen prize

The PhD thesis of Pavel Mancera Piña was awarded the 2022 KNG Van Swinderen prize for the best thesis of the faculties of Science and Engineering and Medical Sciences.

IAU and Gratton PhD prizes

The thesis of Cecilia Bacchini was awarded:

  • The International Astronomical Union (IAU) PhD prize 2020 for Interstellar Matter and Local Universe 

  • And the Gratton prize for the best Italian thesis of the last 2 years.
